We are able to help you through every step of obtaining your HGV licence.

To help you obtain your provisional HGV licence we can arrange your medical. Then provide you with all the relevant DSA learning material. When you are ready we can arrange and book both your Theory and Hazard Perception tests.

Please visit the Medical and Theory page for full details.

Once you have passed your Theory and Hazard Perception we can arrange your practical training and test.

If you are looking to drive a Horsebox or Ambulance then you will require Category C1 Training (up to 7.5t).

If you will need to drive a rigid vehicle over 7.5t then you will require Category C Training (Class 2).

This is the category you will also need to pass before progressing to Category C+E Training.

If you have passed the Category C test you will have received the C+E Provisional Entitlement on your licence.

Category C+E Training (Class 1) is provided in an Artic - the most common type of HGV with a trailer used for haulage on UK roads.

Once again we can arrange your practical training and test.

If you will be driving a HGV for a living and passed your car test after 1/1/97, then you will need to do Initial CPC. We are able to provide literature, training and arrange both the theory and practical test.

If you passed your car test before 1/1/97 then you are required to complete Periodic CPC.
